When he closes his eyes, he's finally at peace.
Finally at rest.
All his troubles, all his sorrows....they've seem to vanish.
He knows no pain nor suffering as he drifts off into a dreamy state.
Leaving behind the real world and stepping into his own.
Never wanting to say goodbye.
Trying not to wake up.
But its the rigorous sounding of his alarm that abruptly awakens him in a shaken manner.
Recovering from a dreamy haze, he rubs his eyes and stretches out as one foot followed by the next, steps out into the real world.
That is, until he closes his eyes and returns to his own.
