Assimilation??? Nah...

So I was sitting in 3rd period U.s. History, and the subject was assimilation. As coach started to get more in depth with the meaning of the word, I started to dislike it even more ha! It means to "fit in" to a certain group or environment. I think someone can look anywhere in the world today and find assimilation. For example, one can walk into a high school and see assimilation right away. The school has certain "clicks" that stay together, sit at the same lunch table everyday, hangs out after school all the time, and that's cool and everything. I'm not dissing on people because they hang out with the same people a lot cause I do the same thing, but I know and hang out with a variety of people. Some are into anime, playing cards, listening to music, artsy things, playing sports, going to church, etc. I don't want to be known as the dude that stays with one central group. I like to be different and unique and hang out with all kinds of people. I'm just a people kind of guy :P Just do your own thing and be you and don't let people bring you down because of it. Don't assimilate, have some diversity :P
PEACE OUT :P

Why Do People Judge...

So I'm sitting here and it's now 3:06 in the morning and I'm watching Lady Gaga's music video for Telephone. I always hear people talk about her and say how crazy she is, but they're no better than her. That's why I've never understood why people pass judgements on other people they don't even know. 1.) It's not your place to judge them. 2.) Get to know them before saying stuff about them, cause your outlook on them can change in an instant. And why do people care if someone is tall/short, ugly/pretty, thin/fat, gay/straight, tan/not tan, etc. They're themselves! You can't take that away from them, and besides, you're no better then the person that you are judging. And I'm not saying that I've never judge someone, cause Lord knows I have. But I try not to because it's unfair for that person. Just accept people for who they are,and don't criticize them for it.
PEACE OUT! :P

Live In The Moment...

So I'm here in Memphis, TN on spring break visiting family. After I dropped my cousin off, my Nana and I started talking about old memories at her old house. I remember when one of my cousins got his toe stuck in the trampoline, and how we all use to eat ice cream on the island in the kitchen, and all the cousins used to sleep in the living room on a pull out bed ha ha! Good times :) I would love to go back and live those memories again, but I'm going to be saying the same thing 20 years from now when I'm 37 years old! So just live in the moment, and take with you all the memories you can. :)
PEACE OUT :P
